Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL)
A marketing-qualified lead (MQL) is a type of lead generated through marketing efforts, that meets a certain threshold or set of criteria indicating a greater chance of converting from prospect to paying customer when compared to other leads. An MQL is usually an inbound lead.
